The Merrion Centre is a "Cut Above the Rest" as Ambassador Barbering Opens

The Merrion Centre in Leeds’ Arena Quarter is further expanding its dynamic tenant portfolio by being chosen as the location for the founding Ambassador Barbershop.
The new shop, which will be the first for the Ambassador brand, opened on Thursday 5th September and specialises in all aspects of traditional barbering and modern male hairdressing services including hot towel shaves, beard sculpts and of course haircuts. It will also offer its own range of specially formulated products such as clay, creams, beard oils and cologne, all of which are free from sulphates and animal testing.
Founder Joshua Waite has over 8 years extensive experience in barbering; a previous manager at Barber Barber in the city, he has also taught and ran several successful barbering events and boasts an array of high-profile clients from sports stars to musicians.
Joshua said: “It has been my ambition to set up a barbershop to fulfil my passion for the craft of barbering and the city of Leeds; one which bridges the gap between aspects of male hairdressing and traditional barbering, with great service and value for money. I’m thrilled to be a part of the thriving Merrion Centre which continues to grow with new independent business opening all the time. It gives this side of the city a real sense of community and opportunity for folk like myself wanting to play a hand in the game. I am very much looking forward to networking with all my fellow independents and customers!”
The location choice by Ambassador Barbering reflects the enduring success of the owners of the Merrion Centre, Town Centre Securities (TCS), who continually reinvent and transform the centre by attracting a diverse mix of independent shops, restaurants and bars to ensure there is something to cater for every taste, need and budget.

Ambassador Barbershop is now open on the upper balcony level of the Merrion Centre and is open Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm.
