Featuring never seen before historic items and sporting objects brought together for the first time ever under one roof.

Supported by Leeds United Football Club and Leeds based event experts Bananakick, the exclusive collection will explore Leeds United past and present. This unique collection tells the story of 100 years of unforgettable football following the players, managers and loyal Leeds supporters through the decades.

This ultimate tribute to Leeds United includes a whole host of shirts some of which include Gary Speeds 91/92 title winning shirt, Tony Yeboah’s 95/96 famous volley scoring shirt, cup final shirts, an ultra-rare unreleased to the public all yellow Burton Shirt.

The list is endless with other memorabilia including a full set of sock tags, historic match-day programmes, interactive displays and much, much more!

The Centenary Exhibition will be held in the Merrion Centre opposite the Leeds United Club Shop and will run from Saturday 26th October until Sunday 24th November. Fans are advised to avoid disappointment and buy tickets in advance as visiting slots are limited to allow fans the full experience – especially across half term and match days.

Every Thursday night during the exhibition, additional tickets will become available to our themed evening’s that will celebrate some of the great eras with special guests – more to follow.

On Sunday 10th November, 1pm onwards, they will be holding a special “Antiques Roadshow” for fans who would like to attend the exhibition and bring along their own LUFC memorabilia to be valued by a panel of experts.

The exhibition is also proud to be displaying the artwork of Andy McVeigh, AKA “The Burley Banksy”, who recently had his artwork commission by Leeds United. Andy’s work is instantly recognisable on the streets around Leeds United’s ground, with his paintings on electric and broadband boxes depicting the club’s iconic players, kits and slogans. Also being exhibited is exclusive imagery of players past and present, key moments from the clubs history showcased by photographer Andrew Varley, whose work is also featured in one of the specially created centenary books.

Leeds United Supporters’ Trust Board said “It’s a proud moment for any supporter to be able to celebrate a Centenary season with their football club. So we’re really excited to be working closely with a number of fans who have helped us to create this unmissable collection of LUFC memorabilia which features never before seen historic items, which we’ve brought together for the first time ever under one roof.”

Angus Kinnear, Leeds United Football CEO Said “We are delighted to support the Trust and their efforts. The exhibition is a fantastic display of Leeds United memorabilia and we hope as many fans as possible head to the Merrion Centre and take a look at the collection – it’s a worthwhile way to celebrate our Centenary.”

James Broughton, Head of Marketing at Town Centre Securities, owners of the Merrion Centre said “We are thrilled to be welcoming such an iconic exhibition to Leeds Arena Quarter as part of the LUFC Centenary year celebrations.

Following the successful opening of the first city centre club store 3 years ago, we have seen thousands of fans transit through our doors and are confident that the addition of this momentous LUFC exhibition will prove a popular addition to the Merrion Centre”
