The Merrion Centre is celebrating after its security team was crowned “Best Daytime Security in Leeds” at the recent BACIL (Business Against Crime in Leeds) awards.
The 4th annual awards ceremony, held at the city’s Queens Hotel, are dedicated to celebrating the fantastic work done on a regular basis across Leeds; specifically in keeping Leeds city centre a safe place to work, live and play.
Nominations were open to the general public and stakeholders alike, with the Merrion Centre being the chosen overall winner by the judging panel.
Darren Brookes, Operations Manager at the Merrion Centre said, “The whole team have worked extremely hard this year to continually raise standards across the 1m sq ft mixed used scheme.
This has been recognised by our customers, tenants and the BACIL judges, and we are confident we have one of the most proactive security teams in the city. I am extremely proud of the team for this fantastic achievement.
