Christmas comes early for Leeds drivers – Free parking in Leeds #welovefreeparking
Town Centre Car Parks are going the extra mile to help out Christmas shoppers and visitors to Leeds by offering free parking in the city centre.
In response to Leeds City Council introducing new evening and Sunday parking charges which begins on the 18th of November, visitors to TCCP’s Merrion Centre car park will be able to park free of charge as part of their #welovefreeparking campaign. By filling in the form below, drivers can enjoy free parking from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd November between 6pm and Midnight.
With the festive season rapidly approaching and Christmas shopping beginning to hit its busiest period, visitors can take advantage of the offer and enjoy late night shopping in the city centre. For every customer taking part in the campaign, Town Centre Car Parks will donate £1 to Teenage Cancer Trust to support those in need at this time of year.
Ben Ziff, Managing Director of Town Centre Car Parks says, “Not everyone is happy that Leeds City Council are charging for parking in the evenings. We all need visitors to Leeds city centre and at TCCP we want to give a little bit back to our loyal customers”. Ben continues, “We appreciate that the council budgets have been cut by the government and wanted to show our solidarity and support to the people of Leeds, as well as supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust, a cause that we’re very passionate about”.
TCCP have also released details of their improved weekend parking prices for The Merrion Centre parking, priced at only £1 per hour for the first three hours of a stay at the weekend. Customers can now take advantage of the cheapest parking in a multi-storey in Leeds for three hour visits between 7am and 7pm at the weekend.
