Meet Susan our new Centre Manager

The Merrion Centre has a brand new centre manager – Susan Mendoza.

Susan, who lives in Keighley with her husband, has previously worked at the Trinity Walk Centre in Wakefield, the Bull Ring in Birmingham and many other shopping centres.

Alongside this experience, Susan has a BCSC Diploma in Shopping Centre Management, meaning she’s a great addition to the Merrion team.

Commenting on her new appointment, Susan said: “This is an exciting time to be joining the team at the Merrion Centre. After the opening of Trinity Walk, I wanted a fresh challenge so helping to deliver and launch the New Front scheme is the perfect opportunity for me.”

“The New Front, together with the Arena, will re-establish the Merrion Centre as one of Leeds’ premier shopping and leisure destinations in a prime city centre location.”

This year marks our 50th anniversary and, with Susan’s help, we’ll be getting a new lease of life.

Outside of work, Susan is a member of Soroptomist International, an organization for professional women, and also loves walking in the Dales.
