Merrion Centre lands Health Clinic

Merrion Centre owner, Town Centre Securities PLC (TCS) has completed a multi-million pound deal with NHS Trust in Leeds for a 7,000 sqft health clinic.

A pioneering health clinic will fulfil the NHS’ and Leeds City Council’s pledge to bring a more efficient and integrated health service to the people of Leeds. The facility expects to see circa 45,000 users every year and is set to open at the Merrion Centre this autumn.

The location of the Merrion Centre ensures maximum convenience. The nearby availability of ample parking and bus stops, together with complimentary pharmacists at Boots and Superdrug will ensure a convenient and efficient service for customers across the region.

The Merrion Centre has always been a mixed use scheme and this is another example of the wide range of services and use of the Centre.

Edward Ziff, chairman and chief executive at TCS commented “We are very pleased that the NHS Trust in Leeds has chosen the Merrion Centre as the site for its new health centre. We believe it will be a significant benefit for the local community.
