The Merrion Centre continues its winning streak as one of the top choices for both international and local companies, as regional business Ramshaw Yorkshire Butchery and Deli selects it as the prime location for its first shop in Leeds city centre.
Owned by Yorkshire based husband and wife team Jason and Charlotte Pritchard, it is the latest addition in a series of successful openings across the region, marking the 4th store in their growing portfolio.
The shop opened Monday 15th April and has created six full time positions serving fresh quality meat, alongside hot speciality takeaway carvery sandwiches, lunch and dinner meals.
They also offer a range of healthy vegetarian lunch time offers to ensure every taste is catered for. It will be managed by Laura Carr, who has previously worked closely with the Pritchard’s; with a strong butchery background she has an astute understanding of the local Leeds market and customers.
Charlotte Pritchard, Owner of Ramshaw said: ‘We’re thrilled to be opening our first shop in Leeds city centre and to become part of the historic Merrion Centre, which continues to attract a strong local customer base.
We have a passion for quality produce and are looking forward to offering customers at The Merrion Centre fresh quality local meat at great value”.
Vanessa McIntosh, Asset Manager, Town Centre Securities (owner of the Merrion Centre) said:
“We have always been a champion of local businesses and are delighted to welcome Ramshaw Yorkshire Butchery to The Merrion Centre.
The benefits of fresh produce and known provenance have wide benefits across our community, economy and environment, and we are delighted to be able to bring a local butcher back to the high street.
The Merrion Centre continues to enjoy high levels of footfall and as the Arena Quarter district continues to expand in the heart of Leeds we have no doubt that this new addition will enjoy the same success”.
