The Merrion Launches Biggest Ever Poppy Appeal
From Monday 24th October the Merrion Centre will be launching what it is hopes will be its most successful poppy appeal in its history.
After raising more than £20,000 for the British Legion in 2015, staff from Town Centre Securities will be swopping their normal day jobs to sell poppies throughout the Merrion Centre in the hopes of raising even more in 2016.
As well as the traditional poppies the Merrion Centre will also have on sale the jewelled keep-sake poppies as well as umbrellas, bracelets and Christmas cards. Every penny from the sale of the items will go directly to supporting the British Legion.
The Merrion Centre Poppy Appeal will run from Monday 24th October to Saturday 12th November with suggested donations starting at £1.
