This August, Leeds School Uniform Exchange is bringing its first-ever city centre pop-up shop to the Merrion Centre – making it easier than ever for families to access free, good-quality, pre-loved school uniforms ahead of the new school year.

The brilliant team at Leeds School Uniform Exchange collect, sort, and redistribute donated school uniforms, making them available to anyone who needs them. There’s no need to book, no questions asked, and no cost involved.

Who Can Come
Everyone is welcome. Whether you need a full new uniform or just one item to tide you over, come and take what you need — no proof of income or referral required.

There’s a wide range of donated school uniform items available, including:
Shirts & Polo Tops I Trousers & Skirts I Blazers & Jumpers I P.E. Kits, Bags & Shoes (subject to availability)
All items are FREE and sorted by size, age, and school where possible.

The Leeds School Uniform Exchange can be found on the upper balcony at the Merrion Centre. They are open 10am-2pm on the following dates throughout August 2025:
