This Summer, the Merrion Centre is thrilled to be part of Leeds’ magical Wonderland Awaits city-wide FREE trail!
From Mondays to Saturdays 10:00am–4:00pm, and Sundays 11:00am–4:00pm, visitors can discover one of the trail’s most curious and mysterious characters right here at the Merrion Centre—just one stop in this topsy-turvy adventure across the city!
Advice from a Caterpillar…You! Who Are You?
Get ready for a most spectacular encounter with our giant talking caterpillar. This laid-back creature might just leave you with more questions than answers. Is it wonderful or is it nonsense?
Bringing the caterpillar to life is none other than acclaimed writer and performer Marcus Brigstocke, so listen closely… you never know what wisdom (or weirdness!) you’ll walk away with.
Where to find the Caterpillar
You won’t be able to miss our larger-than-life lounging Caterpillar nestled inside the Green on the main mall.
Whether you’re chasing curious clues, snapping selfies or just escaping into something a little surreal, the Merrion Centre is your perfect first stop down the rabbit hole.
