Bon Anniversaire to Bonmarches Merrion Centre Store

Bonmarche is marking its successful first year as part of the Merrion Centre with a birthday celebration designed to give something back to some of the wonderful women of Yorkshire.

Bonmarche first opened its doors in 2015 and in recognition of the support its great customers have shown it the women’s clothing retailer has launched a competition asking for nominations for a woman who deserves an extra-special treat.

The winning nomination will then receive £100 in gift vouchers as part of a VIP shopping experience in the store as well as a bottle of champagne, box of chocolates and bouquet of flowers.

Bon Marche is asking for the people of Leeds to upload a picture of their ‘Wonderful Woman’ nomination to the Merrion Centre Facebook page between Monday 5th December and Saturday 17th December with a brief explanation of what makes them so wonderful. The winner will be chosen on Monday 19th December.

Bonmarché is one of the UK’s largest women’s value retailers, focused on selling clothing and accessories in a wide range of sizes for women over 50 years old.

Liz Bentley, the store manager at Bonmarche in Leeds said: “We get to meet so many wonderful customers every day and thought it would be the perfect way to celebrate our birthday by giving something back to one particularly wonderful woman. It’s a way for us to thank our customers for their support over the last 12 months but also make sure are doing what we do best – making women feel great!

“Our Merrion Centre store has been a huge success and we’re really pleased with how fantastic the first 12 months has been. We’re looking forward to many more successful years ahead.”
