FREE Half Term Activities

Join us for a whole host of FREE Chinese Workshops at the Merrion Centre this February half term!
Are you looking to keep the little (or big!?) ones entertained without breaking the bank?
Why not bring the family on Monday 17th and Saturday 22nd February between 11am and 2pm for a fun-filled afternoon of Chinese Arts & Crafts, Music and Dance!
Create & Craft…
Join Leeds Chinese Community School between 11am and 2pm for a hands-on experience.
You can get creative with FREE traditional arts & crafts including lantern painting, calligraphy writing and creating beautiful origami.
Chinese Dance Lessons…
In addition, the team will be offering FREE, fun and family-friendly dance sessions where guests can learn traditional Chinese dance moves with a professional dancer.
Half hour sessions starting from 11am and will run on the hour, with the last one starting at 1pm.
Musical Workshops…
You’ll be able to immerse yourself in the sounds of the Gu Zheng and Pi Pa instruments, and learn how to play by talented artists on the day.
Half hour sessions starting from 11.30am and will run on the hour, with the last one starting at 1.30pm.
