On 26th May 2024 the Merrion Centre celebrates being part of the heart of Leeds for a phenomenal 60 years!
As part of our diamond anniversary celebrations, we welcome you to take a trip down ‘merrion lane’ and join us at our ‘Merrion Through the Years’ pop-up exhibition running 23rd May – 31st July 2024.

From the first opening of our doors on 26th May 1964 to the abundance of modern day international eateries, shops and entertainment venues, you’ll see just how far we’ve come!
Experience a piece of the past…
Extending our exhibition, we’re thrilled to announce that the iconic Flying Kite Emett Machine will take centre stage on our main mall adjacent to Drift Stop.
From the intricate mechanisms to its whimsical design, this larger-than-life machine will transport you to a bygone era of charm and wonder. To see details of the full Emett Machine exhibition click here
